First Baptist Church of Decatur (FBC) exists to reach, teach, and change lives through God’s power and presence. Home schooling does provide greater opportunity in fulfilling this mission as parents carry out God’s direction.
FCCS is open to all homeschooling households that are committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and are in agreement with our doctrinal statement as well as our policies, procedures, and standards.
Based on the exhortation of Deuteronomy 6:6-9, SMIC Academy is a church-based, family-centered, discipleship ministry that assists homeschool parents in fulfilling their calling to home educate their children according to the Christ-centered, Biblical worldview.
